Every year, hundreds of hikers gather in Latvia for one of the country's most iconic endurance challenge BK Kolka ← Dubulti.
Organised by Baltais Kalns, this unique 136 km coastal hike takes participants along the wild Baltic Sea shoreline from Dubulti to Cape Kolka, testing not only physical endurance but also determination, resilience and mental strength.
At Nordic sauna, we believe in the power of nature and an active lifestyle. That's why we're proud to host the BK Kolka ← Dubulti Expo in our showroom for the third consecutive year.

What is BK Kolka ← Dubulti? [136 km | 55 h]
…the journey to the summit 🏔️🌊
BK Kolka ← Dubulti is one of Latvia's most demanding endurance hikes.
Within 55 hours, participants cover 136 kilometres along the wild Baltic Sea coastline, starting in Dubulti and finishing at the iconic Cape Kolka.

But this journey is about much more than reaching the finish line.
It's about discovering something deeper. Something hikers often don't even realise they're searching for. Perhaps it's a conversation around a campfire, a solitary sunrise by the Baltic Sea, or simply the feeling that you're capable of more than you ever imagined.
Maybe that's exactly why we've proudly supported this event for the past three years. Because it's not only about walking. It's about people, nature and experiences that stay with you long after crossing the finish line.
This year, BK Kolka ← Dubulti celebrates its 10th anniversary 🖤
EXPO | 28–29 August
One week before the start, our showroom transforms into a meeting place filled with excitement, anticipation and the unique spirit of the hike.
Hundreds of participants gather here to collect their race packs, meet fellow hikers, attend the official briefing (highly recommended even if you're planning your first ultra hike in the future) and, of course, pick up some stylish BK Kolka ← Dubulti merchandise.

This year, our friends Kokmuiža Brewery and Zaķumuiža Water will once again provide refreshing drinks throughout the Expo.
As an extra treat, we'll also heat up our mirror sauna on one of the Expo evenings, giving participants the opportunity to relax, warm up and experience an authentic Nordic sauna before the big adventure begins.

Nordic sauna will be on the trail too
BK Kolka ← Dubulti is much more than an event we support, it's an adventure our entire team becomes part of.
This year, two members of the Nordic sauna team will take on the full 136 km challenge, while the rest of our team will join the organisers, supporting participants throughout their journey to Cape Kolka.
Some will be walking, others will be helping behind the scenes but every one of us will be part of this adventure.
Because of this, we'd like to let you know in advance that our showroom will be closed on Friday, 4 September.
On that day, you'll find us on the trail instead.
After the finish – a well-earned sauna
This year we're excited to begin our collaboration with Bast Sauna - a Swedish brand of portable sauna tents that can be set up almost anywhere.
BK Kolka ← Dubulti will be the very first event where we'll join forces to help participants recover after reaching the finish line.

Instead of rushing home after completing the hike, we invite participants to stay a little longer at Cape Kolka and enjoy the warmth of the Bast Sauna tent.
We believe there are few better feelings than letting the heat of the sauna slowly relax tired muscles after 136 kilometres on the Baltic coast.
💡 Planning to enjoy the sauna? Don't forget to leave your swimsuit and towel with your support crew before the hike, you'll thank yourself after 136 kilometres
See you at the Expo, on the trail or at Cape Kolka
For the past three years, we've been proud to be part of the BK Kolka ← Dubulti community. Every year we're inspired by the determination of the participants, the support they give one another and the unforgettable moments created along Latvia's beautiful Baltic coastline.
If you've never visited Latvia and enjoy long-distance hiking, perhaps this is your sign to add BK Kolka ← Dubulti to your adventure list for next year.
Who knows? Your next unforgettable journey might begin on the Baltic coast.
We'll be waiting to welcome you with a warm sauna at the finish line.
